After using windows 8 I found quiet a good apps. Some of the apps are my favorite one. But when I am working with my projects I find it quiet time killing. If I own the staff he/she might use apps instead of working. So here comes the solution for it. Applocker is the best way to lock the apps.
One can define their own rules for the attributes of the files. i.e. owner may define based on the publishers name, file name and version as seen in digital signature and also of course on the file path and hashing. They can define such rule for the group or individual. Applying these rules may sometimes creates a problem, so in that case owner may create an exception too. Before one has to maintain these rules, they can test the system. Such rules can be tested at first and make them import to the group policy object. This feature is available only on enterprise edition of windows 8.
